Ethical Breach In The Research Process Of Armand And Ignaz

            In both essays, there are some unethical practices followed during the research process. The narrator followed such unethical practices being aware of the possible outcome.

            In The Four Tusked Elephants, Armand bribed people and also indirectly supported animal hunting and poaching. Also, in the Scientific Inquiry: Invention And Test, Ignaz subjected healthy women for his experiment in which many of them died. In both cases, the researchers didn't follow ethical practices and hence caused an ethical breach.

             Animals and human both have right to survive. None is allowed to harm their rights. Here, Ignaz treated pregnant women as experiment tools and attended the childbirth without disinfecting hands. Eleven of twelve women died of fever. Similarly, Armand bought poached tusks and indirectly helped in poaching, Also, there is a practice of bribe in the essay.

            Here, the researchers followed these types of practices which are against ethical practices. Since they are doing it for perfect reasons but they violated ethical practices and also violated the rights of human and animals. Each person must abide by ethical rules despite the practices is done for perfect reasons.
